Sound Engineer and C.E.O. of Highly Spiritual Music, David Kojo Kyei, popularly known as Kaywa has revealed that his mother has been his backbone ever since he started music production.
The award winning sound engineer said his mother supported him using the profit she made from her provision shop during the early years of his career.
Speaking to the host of 3FM Drive, Giovanni Caleb, Kaywa stated that “one person who was there and still is there, thinking about me, thinking about my artistes today is my mom…my mom (will) encouraged me”.
He added that his mother gave him her shop to use as his first recording studio and also, catered for the electricity bill.
Kaywa was recently ordained as a man of God and conferred with a Doctor of Divinity certificate from the Apostolic Theology Seminary.
He is responsible for hit songs like Jennifer Lomotey by Kurl Songx featuring Sarkodie as well as Bisa Kdei’s Mansa among others.
